Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you want to meet in person prior to the wedding?

We are going to spend a lot of time together on your wedding day, and I believe it’s important to get to know each other a little better. This helps us become comfortable around each other, helps me get a better understanding of who you are, and vice versa. I strongly believe that establishing a rapport makes a world of difference in the quality of photos, as opposed to having a complete stranger follow you around with a camera all day. Let’s meet for a cup of coffee, beer, or a quick lunch to chat about your big day and your ideas.

How do I secure the date, and what is the payment process?

I require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of your total balance to secure your wedding date. If you have chosen an additional photo session, a payment for those items must be made before I will release the photos. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your wedding day. A contract will be created with all details regarding my services, and signed by all parties.

Are you insured?

I am fully insured for liability and equipment.

What kind of camera do you use?

I shoot with professional grade Nikon cameras, with a wide variety of lenses, flashes, lights, and other nerdy gadgets that give me the ability to capture almost any situation.

How will I receive my images?

In addition to a private gallery with many print and share options, you will receive a link to download all of your images in high resolution, JPEG format. I take the time to carefully edit every one of your photos. This includes color correction, cropping, and touch-ups (as needed). On average, your photos will be completed, posted to your private gallery and delivered to you in about 4-6 weeks. You have the right to print and share your photos as you wish, as long as it is for non-commercial use.
